IForum forms a strategic partnership with Corra Technology, Inc. around it's CRM practice and SugarCRM.
Livingston, NJ - July 6, 2005 - iForum Corporation, a customer facing Web design firm,
today announced an alliance with Corra Technology, inc. (CTI), a global software services and CRM consulting firm, to provide CRM consulting and CRM software development services to iForum's clients.
CTI's CRM practice is based on the commercial open source CRM software solution
SugarCRM.
SugarCRM through its Sugar Suite of products delivers core sales force automation,
marketing automation and customer service automation to midsized corporations.
The solution is built on a Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP (LAMP) architecture,
which runs in several environments, including Linux, Mac, Microsoft, Unix and others.
The LAMP stack makes the application
flexible,
scalable and adaptable.
Open source software is being recognized as a smart enterprise solution due to better innovation,
higher quality in solutions, and lower Total-Cost-of-Ownership (TCO). Many enterprises are demanding
better integration, lower cost, better service and support, and more flexibility to better synchronize
with their workplace. SugarCRM
delivers enterprise caliber open source CRM applications and in less than one year has become one
of the largest open source application projects world-wide.
"SugarCRM is a CRM differentiator.
It is necessary for clients whose internal business processes represent a strategic advantage to have
a CRM strategy that allows for seamless integration. We think the absolute highest advantage
SugarCRM offers our clients and
now iForum's, is the ability to customize inside the application, at the code level, the database
level and the API's. For the first time in CRM's short lifespan, clients can reduce their
total-cost-of-ownership and gain competitive advantage simultaneous," says Ron Bongo, CEO of CTI."
